However, I don’t mind catching fish by whatever means work at the time, and I have a thorough understanding of these methods. The boat is a 20-foot Maine-built Maritime Skiff. I carefully chose this for its effectiveness in putting my clients where the action is, whether in a strong tidal rip or floating a shallow flat. With its width, stability, and front and rear casting decks, the boat provides an ideal fishing platform. An environmentally friendly Honda outboard powers the boat. It can quickly and comfortably deliver you to the prime fishing spots.

Pine Point (Scarborough-Saco Bay)

We will fish the outer beaches and Islands of Saco Bay. This water is extremely well-suited for stripers. We can fish the shallow beaches and see these fish moving around. The rocky shores here provide an excellent opportunity to cast against everything you would think of for a Maine rocky shoreline.

You are welcome to bring your equipment, but it is not necessary – I have everything that will be needed on the boat. I will provide morning coffee, snacks, and soft drinks. These trips typically depart early in the morning, and we are willing to adjust if you are on vacation, as it is your day. Departure is either Yarmouth, ME (209 Old Shipyard Rd, Yarmouth, ME 04096) or Pine Point, Scarborough (100 King St, Scarborough, ME).
